I studied at Lancaster University, obtaining a Bachelors of Law with Honours in Law with a History Minor. All mandatory law units were undertaken; Contract, Tort, European Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity & English Legal System. In relation to the history minor subjects, I studied modern European History from the 19th and 20th Centuries, especially in relation to German and Russian dictatorships and the First and Second World Wars.
Subsequently, I undertook a Masters of Law degree at Lancaster University in International Law & International Relations in which I obtained a Distinction, one of only three in that year. Special emphasis was placed upon the Laws of War, Human Rights and the legal requirements for the creation of a modern international state.
Following my time at Lancaster University, I attended the Inns of Court School of Law in London to complete the Bar Vocational Course, undertaking specialist options in Landlord & Tenant and Consumer Protection. Whilst at the Inns of Court I also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies from the City University of London.
After leaving the Inns of Court School of Law, I obtained pupillage at Regent Chambers and subsequently a tenancy, remaining there ever since.
My main areas of specialisation are Family Law, Common Law and Residential Landlord & Tenant Law.
Personal Interests
When not acting in my capacity of a Barrister, I have my own property interests renting several properties both the United Kingdom and Bulgaria.
My immediate family are all involved in property rental, and have been for many years. I have previously been a committee member of the North Staffordshire Landlord's Association and therefore have a very keen interest in Landlord & Tenant Law, both personally and through my Chambers.
I enjoy travelling, especially to Eastern European Countries. I take part in leisure activities such as hiking, swimming and reading.
