Areas of Work
Barristers provide advice and assistance before, during or after a Court case and provide representation at any Court hearing.
Frequently, clients want to know the merits of their potential case before issuing proceedings. If a case has been issued against them, a Barrister can give independent professional advice about possible settlement or any required defence.
Although the Public Access Rules have transformed the way in which Barristers offer their services to the public, there are still some areas where a Barrister is not permitted to work under Public Access; notably Crimimal, Family & Immigration matters, where the involvement of a Solicitor is still required.
Areas which lend themselves exceptionally well to Public Access work are Civil related. In relation to Civil work, I specialise in Residential Landlord & Tenant work for both Landlords & Tenants and also cover other areas including personal injury.
Through Barrister Services, I am able to provide many fixed fee services and documents in relation to Landlord & Tenant matters. Please see Fixed Fee Documents & Services for more details. Alternatively, if you have a query which is not related to a Landlord & Tenant issue, or you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Should you wish me to represent you in a Criminal or Family matter, my Clerks or I can discuss this with you and recommend firms of Solicitors with whom I work regularly. They may also be able to assist with Legal Aid matters, if appropriate.
